Developer Rigs

Compiles, containers, and virtual machines running in parallel without the machine becoming the wait.

Software engineering, compilation, virtualization, containers, and local AI experimentation — the workloads that reward memory and core count over anything else.

Which One Is For Me?

The practical difference between tiers.

$5K class

A serious development machine — enough cores and memory for daily engineering work without idle spend on gaming-tier GPU headroom.

$7K class

More memory and GPU capability for larger builds and heavier local-AI experimentation alongside daily development.

$12K class

Workstation-class CPU and ECC memory for engineers running the heaviest parallel builds and multi-VM environments.

Built For

What Developer Rigs is built to do.

Software engineering

Enough cores and memory to keep an IDE, a browser, and a build running without swapping.

Compilation

Multi-core throughput sized to parallel build systems, not single-thread benchmarks.

VMs and containers

Memory headroom to run multiple isolated environments at once without starving the host.

Local AI experimentation

GPU VRAM sized for running and experimenting with local models — see the Local AI section on each system page for exact classification.

Heavy multitasking

The rig that doesn't need a restart between a full IDE, a dozen containers, and a browser with too many tabs.

Why Electron Revolution

Specced around cores, memory, and sustained multitasking — the things that actually slow a developer down, not the ones that look best in a spec sheet headline.

FAQ

Developer Rigs — frequently asked.

Are these good for running local AI models?
GPU VRAM and platform vary by tier — see each system's Local AI classification for an honest read on what it supports. None of the Developer Rigs are ASH-native; that's reserved for ASH A(π).
Can I customize the configuration?
Configuration changes go through a consultation rather than an open build menu today — use the Contact page to ask about a specific change.
What warranty and lead time apply?
Warranty and lead-time terms are confirmed per order and are not yet finalized for public listing — see the individual system page for current status.
Are these systems upgradeable later?
Yes — see the Upgradeability section on each system's detail page for what's confirmed.
