Frequently asked questions.

Factual answers only. Where something isn't finalized yet, we say so.

What does Electron Revolution build?

Premium, high-performance computers — thirteen systems across four conventional families (Gaming PCs, Multimedia Workstations, Developer Rigs, Founder Series) plus ASH A(π), the one native ASH intelligence system in the catalog. Every system is configured for the workload it's named for.

What is the difference between the families?

Gaming PCs are tuned for frame rates and responsiveness. Multimedia Workstations prioritize GPU memory and sustained thermal performance for rendering. Developer Rigs favor multi-core throughput and memory for builds and virtualization. Founder Series is the balanced, premium all-around option. See the System Selection Guide for the full breakdown.

Can ER systems run local AI?

Yes — every ER system is genuinely capable of running local AI workloads at a level appropriate to its tier. Each product page shows a descriptive Local AI capability rating (Capable / Advanced / Extreme / Flagship) based on the system's actual GPU memory and platform, not a marketing claim. See the Local AI Guide for the full explanation.

Is ASH included on every ER system?

No. Every ER system is AI-capable, but ASH-native status — hardware and the ASH intelligence layer specified together from the start — is exclusive to ASH A(π) (Signature Series). This boundary is enforced at the code level, not just in marketing copy.

What is ASH A(π)?

Electron Revolution's flagship, and the only native ASH intelligence system in the launch catalog — workstation-class hardware (96GB ECC GPU memory, Threadripper PRO platform) specified specifically to run ASH natively. See the ASH A(π) page for the full architecture.

Can I compare systems?

Yes — Compare Systems lets you put up to 4 of the 13 systems side by side, with transparent difference highlighting on specs and capability ratings.

Can I get help choosing a system?

Yes — Help Me Choose is a short, deterministic questionnaire (not a chatbot) that recommends a Best Fit and a Strong Alternative based on your workload, performance target, and budget.

Are ER systems upgradeable?

ER systems use standard desktop/workstation platforms — standard memory, storage interfaces, and expansion slots — rather than proprietary lock-in. See Upgradeability for the full philosophy, and each product page for any confirmed per-system upgrade notes.

What OS options are supported?

Final supported operating system options per system are still being confirmed and are not yet published here — this answer will update the moment that's finalized, rather than guess.

When will shipping and warranty details be finalized?

Final launch policy for shipping and warranty is still being finalized with the Founder and, where relevant, legal review. See Warranty and Shipping for current status — both are clearly marked as pending, not invented placeholders.
